Acorn TV brings commercial-free, world-class television streaming from Britain and beyond to library patrons and their web-connected devices like laptops, iPads, and smartphones.
Acorn TV’s brought to you by RBdigital. If you’ve already created an account through our other online RBdigital resources like Universal Class or Law Depot, you’ll use the SAME login information when you log in to Acorn TV through ACPL’s digital library.
Go to Acorn TV through ACPL’s digital library, and once on the page, create an account using an email, password, and your library card information if you don’t already have an RBdigital account. If you do, sign in using the same information you’ve used for other RBdigital library services.
Once you’ve created an account or logged in using an existing account, click on the “Get Started” button on the Acorn TV page.
Once your information has been accepted, click on “Access Acorn TV,” and start watching!
NOTE: Your access to Acorn TV through ACPL is good for 7 days and then will need to be renewed; this is because a limited number of ACPL library users can access Acorn at one time. There’s no limit to the number of times you can log in, and you don’t need to sign up for a subscription.
After you’ve had access to Acorn for 7 days, you’ll get a notice when you try to sign in that your trial has expired, and you’ll need to sign back in through the library’s Acorn webpage. To get free access, always go through the Acorn TV link on our Digital Library page, NOT the Acorn TV site or app.
