Dear Library: From Mary

Student

Dear Library,

I had to take classes at Ohio University last summer in order to graduate on time. My roommates had gone home and none of my friends stayed in town, either. I rode my bike to the library almost everyday. Over the course of the summer,I read 25 books.

Instead of staying inside bored, I took my books to the pool or park and let their stories fill my mind. I especially loved the book sales on the second Saturday of every month, where the books only cost $0.30! My cousin would come to visit and we would stock up on as many books as we could carry. A summer that could have been bleak and lonely was saved by the Athens Library. The staff are all wonderful and the building itself is comfortable and cozy. I truly enjoyed going to the Athens Library last summer, and will enjoy it again this summer!
