Dear Library: From Marcia

Dear Library,

My fondest memory of the library occurred more than ten years ago. At that time Amy King was the children’s librarian. She was a terrific storyteller and very animated. My son and Ialways went to ‘lap sit’.

Children sat quietly on their parents laps and listened as Amy told one of her special stories. My son, however was always determined to be on Amy’s lap. Amy always accommodated him. To this day, I will always look back on those special times with my son at the library. From lap sit to library camp, the library gave my son a safe place to be himself, to explore and to meet the nicest people!
