Dear Library: From Debbi

Case manager

Dear Library,

I had a very difficult childhood for many reasons. My first experience with a library was before I entered kindergarden (many years ago!). My older cousin would bring home library books for me, then play teacher and subsequently, I could read before entering school. I remember the excitement of MY first day of school when I could go to the library and pick my books out for myself! I felt like a kid in a candy store! The library opened up a whole new world for me and at a time I needed it the most, an escape! My very early experiences with a library began a life long love of reading. I would encourage everyone to discover the library and start your children loving the library at a very early age!
