Dear Library: From Amy

Dear Library,

My daughter ran through the library shouting “Puppet, puppet!”when she was just 1. Amy, the librarian, remembers her name and shares books and balloons with her.

Story hour has been one of her first connections with other children and read-alouds in a group. There are always other children to play with, and trains and toys to add to her enjoyment of the library. She recognizes it all as soon as we arrive now that she’s almost 2, and talks about the features listed above. We love our library.

  1. What a great way to introduce your child to the wonders of the library. She will always value and remember her good times at the library no matter what the age. And hopefully, will pass this along to her children as well…
