Meeting rooms in the public libraries of Athens County are available by reservation. Please observe the following rules:
- All meetings must be free and open to the public.
- No money may be exchanged for goods or services. No donations may be solicited or collected.
- Please vacate meeting rooms at the agreed-upon time.
- Please check in with the library staff before the meeting.
- Audio-visual equipment is available. Please request any needed equipment when you reserve the room.
- Limited kitchen facilities are available, or groups may have events catered.
- Please leave meeting rooms clean, turn off all lights, and lock the door as you leave the room.
- Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. All library grounds are also tobacco-free.
- There is a limit of two (2) meetings per month per organization; some exceptions may be possible.
- Meeting rooms may be reserved no more than two (2) months before the meeting date; however, in the case of an organization’s annual meeting or a meeting which requires advance publicity, the reservation may be made up to a year before the meeting.
- Meeting rooms are not available on Sundays.
