Outreach Services

Our library system includes a bookmobile service to rural residents throughout Athens County. See the Bookmobile schedule here. To request service, please call the main library in Nelsonville at 753-2118.

If a reader is not able to come to the library or the bookmobile due to a temporary or permanent illness or disability, the library is able to make deliveries! Read more about Library Home Visits.

Our library system, in coordination with the Talking Books Service of the Library of Congress, provides services for Athens County residents who are visually and physically handicapped. Read more about Talking Books.
