Ten Red Apples

Ten red apples grow on a tree (both hands over head)
Five for you and five for me. (dangle one hand and then the other)
Let us shake the tree just so. (shake body)
And then red apples will fall below. (hands fall)
1, 2, 3, 4,... (count each finger)

Five Little Cookies

Five little cookies, with frosting galore
Mother ate the white one, and then there were four.
Four little cookies, two and two you see.
Father ate the green one, and then there were three.
Three little cookies, but before I knew,
Sister at the yellow one, and then there were two.
Two little cookies, oh what fun.
Brother ate the brown one, and then there was one.
One little cookie, watch me run.
I ate the red one,a nd then there were none.
