Library Board Information

The Board of Trustees of the Nelsonville Public Library meets regularly on the third Tuesday of every month. Meetings are held in various Athens County libraries. Meetings are open to the public. Each meeting sets aside time for members of the public to comment. The schedule for 2010 is as follows:

• March 16, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the The Plains Public Library
• April 20, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Coolville Public Library
• May 18, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the The Plains Public Library
• June 15, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• July 20, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• August 17, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• September 21, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Wells (Albany) Public Library
• October 19, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• November 16, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Glouster Public Library
• December 14, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library.

Members of the board are chosen by the Nelsonville-York School Board. The term is seven years.
