Library Board Information

The Board of Trustees of the Nelsonville Public Library meets regularly on the third Tuesday of every month. Meetings are held in various Athens County libraries. Meetings are open to the public. Each meeting sets aside time for members of the public to comment. The schedule for 2007 is as follows:

• May 20, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the The Plains Public Library
• June 17, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• July 15, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Athens Public Library
• August 19, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• September 16, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Coolville Public Library
• October 21, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library
• November 18, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Glouster Public Library
• December 16, 2008, at 4:00 pm at the Nelsonville Public Library.

Members of the board are chosen by the Nelsonville-York School Board. The term is seven years.
